Privacy notice

Draft under review: this text has not been approved yet and may change.
Agendator is an online booking platform for service businesses. This notice explains what personal data is processed when you book a service with a business that uses Agendator and when you visit Agendator's website, why, for how long, and what your rights are.
What Agendator never does with your data
The data of a booking is there to make the booking and for the business you booked with. Agendator does not sell it or give it to third parties, does not use it for advertising or profiling, and never sends it to Google Analytics. Besides Agendator, only the providers listed further down process it, and only to make the booking work. The only statistics Agendator keeps are counts the business itself sees, with no one's data in them.
Who is responsible for your data
The business you book with is the controller of that booking's data: it decides what it asks for and what it uses it for. Agendator processes that data on the business's behalf, as its processor, and only to make bookings work.
Agendator is the controller of the account data of the people who run a business on the platform.
The business may have its own privacy policy; when it does, the link is on the business's page.
What a booking collects
Your name, email address and phone number; your answers to the business's questions about the service; any note you leave; the service, professional, location and time you choose; and your browser's language and time zone, to write to you in your language and show you the right times.
When you accept this notice, the version you accepted, the date and time, your IP address and your browser's identification (user agent) are recorded as evidence of what you accepted. If you choose to receive news from the business by email, that choice is recorded in the same way; it is optional, and you can withdraw it through the business.
What it is used for
To make the booking and pass it on to the business; to email you the confirmation, reminders and changes (and, if you turn them on for a device, reminders as notifications); to give you a link where you can see, reschedule or cancel the booking; and, only if you agree, for the business to email you news.
For how long
Each business decides how long it keeps its customers' data: 36 months unless it changes this. After that, the data of customers without recent bookings is erased automatically, and old bookings keep no personal details. You can ask for erasure at any time, through the link you received by email or through the business.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data or for its erasure: from the link you received by email with your booking (an email then confirms the request) or by contacting the business. The business answers the request.
On erasure, your name, contact details, answers and notes are removed; the bookings stay in the business's history without your details. Consent records are kept, without your IP address or browser identification, as evidence of what you accepted.
You can also ask the business to correct your data, object to its processing or ask for it to be restricted, and you can complain to a data protection authority.
Cookies and your browser
On businesses' public pages and in the booking form, Agendator uses no cookies and stores no data in your browser. If you turn on reminders for a device, your browser keeps the notification subscription. The panel for people who run a business uses a cookie, to keep them signed in. The pages of Agendator's website use cookies only if you accept them, as explained below.
When bot protection is on, the booking form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which looks at technical data about your browser to tell people from automated programs.
Agendator's website and Google Analytics
The pages that present Agendator (at agendator.online/pt-pt/, /pt-br/, /es/ and /en/) use Google Analytics so that we know how many people visit them, where they come from and which pages work best. Only after you click Accept in the cookie notice: until then, or if you reject, nothing is loaded from Google. Your choice is kept in your browser for 6 months.
If you accept, Google Analytics records the pages you view, the page you came from, your approximate country and city, the type of device and browser, and clicks on the buttons to create an account and to book a call with us. Your IP address is used only to estimate your location and is not stored. The cookies _ga and _ga_YQDE60GBVJ are kept in your browser for at most 13 months, and only for the website's pages in the language in which you accepted them. Google's advertising and personalisation stay off.
The legal basis is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time under Cookie settings, in the website's footer, and the cookies are then deleted. Google Ireland Limited processes this data on Agendator's behalf; it may be transferred to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Google Analytics is never used on businesses' pages, in the booking form, on a booking's link, in bookings embedded on other websites, or in the panel.
Visit statistics
Agendator counts, per day, the visits to each business's page and the times its booking form is opened, so that the business knows how many people look for it. Only the number is kept: no IP address, no cookie, nothing about your browser.
Who else processes data
The pages reach you through Cloudflare's network. Agendator's emails are sent through Microsoft 365, from Microsoft. If you turn on reminders for a device, they are delivered by your browser's push service (for example Google's, Apple's, Mozilla's or Microsoft's). On the pages of Agendator's website, the chat is provided by NexTalk, which receives technical data about the connection (such as the IP address) and the messages you write in it.
